A proper waterpark with slides, the kind you’d find in the Netherlands or on Rhodes, doesn’t exist around Kalamata. Water Park Yolo comes closest: a floating inflatable course out at sea, near Mikri Mantineia.
What you’ll do there
The park consists of connected inflatable obstacles floating in the sea: climbing, jumping, sliding and balancing. Life jackets are mandatory and sessions run under supervision. Sunbeds and drinks are available on shore, so parents who’d rather watch from the beach can do so.
Why this is the best option
Among the inflatable water parks in the region, Yolo has by far the best reviews: 4.7 out of 5 on Tripadvisor, with visitors particularly praising the cleanliness and friendly staff. That makes it the obvious choice over similar parks further along the coast.
